The beautifully restored Grade II listed barn and cottage fuse rustic-chic interiors, high spec eco-friendly credentials (ground-source heating and solar panels) and a host of original features. Vaulted beams and exposed stonework combine with top notch fixtures and fittings, to create an exceptional retreat, sure to impress even the most discerning guests. Junior guests will be especially happy, not just with having a pool and hot tub at their disposal but a carved wooden play area with swing, slide, climbing frame and balancing logs, not to mention plenty of safe green space to roam and the opportunity to toast marshmallows under the stars at the fire-pit. Grown-up guests will love the upside down design of the barn, which allows for a very large sociable open-plan living space but with a cosy extra lounge – perfect for those who seek a bit of down time or for keeping the kids entertained whilst adults enjoy supper and drinks in the main area. The optional extra 1-bedroom cottage is a real bonus when bringing along grandparents or couples without kids, who may appreciate a longer lie-in than young family life permits!

A long list of handy baby and toddler kit is provided and, the icing on the cake is a friendly local pub serving well-reviewed classic meals just down the road (3/4 of a mile) – the perfect spot for a celebratory meal or first night gathering!


Accommodation Overview – Barn (sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms) & Cottage (sleeps 2 in 1-bedroom)
On the ground floor, you’ll find all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Whilst stairs lead up to the communal spaces on the first floor. . There you will find a luxurious snug with corner sofa, smart TV with Netflix and Disney etc and vaulted open plan living, dining (seats 10-12) and kitchen area plus adjacent cosy living space with sofas. The kitchen is open plan to the dining space and fully equipped with all mod cons including washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and stove top Moka pot etc..
Downstairs, bedrooms comprise: a double with en suite shower room, super-king bedroom with adjacent family bathroom (WC, bath and walk in shower), two further superking-size/twin (convertible) bedrooms (sharing the family bathroom) and a further king room with ensuite shower room (plus WC) and patio doors with courtyard style terrace, perfect for morning coffee or an outdoor shower!
Next door is a standalone cottage, perfect for a couple or grandparents, sleeping two in a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (over bath shower and WC) with its own open-plan living/dining/kitchen
Bed linen and towels are included, but you will need to bring your own beach towels when out exploring the coastline.
