Villa Amengual is the perfect find for parents looking for a child-friendly villa in the Balearics. Laidback and rustic in style, this two-bedroom villa with additional studio sleeps 4 + 2. It has its own swimming pool and is located in the picturesque North of the island, just 40 minutes from Palma airport. Guests can easily access the family-friendly beaches of Alcudia and Port de Pollenca by car and the rural villages of Buger and Sa Pablo are just a few kilometres away.

Finished with families in mind, the hosts thoughtfully offer a range of free baby gear including a pool fence, cot, highchair, bed guards, baby monitors, stairgates and more (see fast facts box for full list). The villas mature gardens are private and lawned ensuring there's plenty of place for little ones to play, although the shallow entry swimming pool is bound to be the biggest hit for adults and children alike.

Inside, the set up of the house is great for families with accompanying child-free friends, grandparents or nannies thanks to the annexe space. This comfortable studio has a sense of privacy from the main house and comes with its own lounge and mezzanine level bedroom.

Accommodation Overview

Inside the main house is bright, spacious and filled with rustic charm. There are traditional stoned walls, beamed ceiling, and terracotta tiled floors. The traditional farmhouse-style kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee machine. The lounge area is simple but comfortable and has an open-plan dining area.

There are two good-sized bedrooms in the main house which are usually set up as twins but can be made up as doubles. One room has an en-suite shower room and there is a further family bathroom with a bath and shower over.

The annexe has a lounge area and wooden stairs which lead to a mezzanine level with a double bed. The mezzanine level is not suitable for children or toddlers. The annexe also has a WC.

Outside the house is set up to make the most of the beautiful Spanish weather. There's a covered dining terrace with BBQ and a gated swimming pool with shallow entry and surrounding sun loungers.
