This laid-back, finca style hotel is only 30 minutes from Faro airport but feels a world from the typical tourist traps of Algarve. Set in acres of gardens, surrounded by fragrant bougainvillea and citrus trees it’s a real hideaway. Families can spend the days relaxing by the pool, exploring the gardens and dining out on fresh, sustainable produce at the onsite restaurants (their wood-fried pizzas are a big hit!). There’s a nightly cinema screening complete with cones of popcorn and the hotel’s passionfruit mojito is the quintessential holiday tipple.
Trips to the beach are quite the adventure, pack a beach bag and hop aboard the hotels shuttle (during summer season) to Fuseta Island which involves a glamorous speed boat trip to an idyllic beach where the boatman will help set up families with an island base. We recommend arranging an accompanying picnic with the hotel who can also supply umbrellas, chairs, beach towels and drinks to ensure guests are marooned in style. Those hoping for a more traditional day at the beach are spoilt for choice with a selection of beaches just a short drive away.
For parents hoping for a bit of quality time for two the hotel offers a kids club during the summer season which operates in the garden every afternoon (3 years +) and a babysitter/nanny can be arranged on request (we recommend booking this at least a week in advance).

All the rooms at the hotel are tranquil and relaxing with white walls, neutral décor and tactile fabrics/finishes.
The Junior Suite is a great space for families and sleeps up to 2 adults + 2 children (incl. infants). It has living room, separate bedroom, bathroom (with bath and shower over) and large private terrace. The sofa in the lounge can be made up as a child bed and cots can be provided on request. The bedroom has electric blackout blinds and the hotel supply a kettle, Nespresso machine and well stocked mini bar in the room. During restaurant opening hours a full room service menu is provided. Each room has air conditioning, internet access, a safe and television.

Location Information
This rural hotel is set in 9 hectares of land on the outskirts of a small village near Moncarapacho in eastern Algarve. Bikes are available to hire but for those looking to explore the region we recommend renting a car.
The picturesque fishing village of Tavria with its pretty squares and cobbled streets is 15 minutes west of the hotel well worth a visit.
For days out on the beach there’s a variety of options just a short drive away. In the summer the hotel can provide a shuttle service for guests looking to spend the day on the white sands of Fuseta which is one of the stunning island beaches in the Ria Formosa national park. The shuttle takes guests from the hotel over to Fuseta pier where a boat zips them to Barra Nova every 20 minutes. If you don’t opt to take a picnic (available from the hotel) we recommend stopping for a spot of lunch at waterside BBQ Casa Corvo in Fuseta.
Active families will be in their element at the hotel, choosing to make their stay as relaxing or action packed as they desire. The hotel can help arrange a selection of activities from pottery slinging to horse riding, boating to dolphin watching (big hit with mini guests), cooking to fishing. Bikes are available to hire (adult bikes) and there’s a gym and tennis courts onsite.
Getting there: The hotel is approx. 30 minutes from Faro airport and the hotel can arrange transfers (48 hours’ notice required) for approx. 37 euros per person each way. Those travelling by train can get a train from Lisbon or Oporto into Faro and again a transfer service can be arranged (same notice applies) for approx. 60 euros per person each way.
Those hiring a car can park for free at the hotel.
