Nestled in the heart of a designated 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', this stylish 6-bedroom farmhouse offers family-friendly luxury and views for miles along with group getaway game-changers including a hot tub, large sociable kitchen and spacious lounge with log burner that is perfect for movie and game nights.
From its central location, the farmhouse makes for easy jaunts to the Island's spectacular coastline and many good food pubs and restaurants, or days out of both the family-friendly zoo and farm park kind, or the adventurous coasteering, kayaking and raft building kind.
The interior is stylishly and thoughtfully finished throughout with a palette of soft greys and large windows making the most of the expansive views and tonnes of natural light. Mini guests are well catered for with cots, highchairs and garden playset. Grown-ups will enjoy the sociable set up of communal areas such as the open-plan kitchen diner with stools around a central island, and a huge dining table adjacent, ensuring the chefs in the party don't have to miss out and everyone can get stuck in and help. French doors from the kitchen lead out onto the patio hot tub and BBQ area making it the perfect spot for pre-dinner socialising, al-fresco eating or sundowners whilst keeping a watchful eye on little ones enjoying the expansive lawned garden and swings.
Across the hallway, the large lounge boasts a cosy wood burner, lots of comfy seating, a large TV and a cupboard full of board games – perfect for a movie marathon or games night. Towards the rear of the ground floor, a bedroom with a double and a single and adjacent utility area with WC, is ideal for those with reduced mobility.
Upstairs, there are six spacious bedrooms, all with their own bath or shower room and with plenty of space for quiet relaxation. Each of the two doubles and two king-sized bedrooms boast their own sumptuous ensuite shower rooms, whilst the sixth bedroom, a twin, can enjoy exclusive access the luxurious family bathroom with roll top bath, just across the hallway. The lucky guests who bag the luxurious master suite can enjoy breath-taking views from the large windows as well as a very large en-suite with shower, WC & twin sinks. All the bedrooms have plenty of space for a cot and feel large enough to comfortably retreat to for a bit of quiet time away from the group.

Location Information
Mountain View is located in the heart of Anglesey within a short drive of its most popular attractions and beaches, yet it is totally tranquil and surrounded by green fields and spectacular views.. plus plenty of sheep of course!
The nearest village is around 30mins by foot or of 5 minutes by car and is home to 'Stesion-y-Llan', the former train station and now one of the island's best regarded cafes. It's family friendly and a great spot for an indulgent breakfast or snack lunch. Little ones will love the train station history, play area, cakes and marshmallow crammed hot chocolates!
Toddler-friendly attractions within a short drive include: Anglesey Sea Zoo, which has a nice café and excellent toy shop, Foel Farm Park with petting farm and trailer rides, and Pili Palas Butterfly Park, which has a lovely ‘Pets Corner’ and a well-equipped soft play area with café. There's also the Empire soft play centre in Holyhead for wet weather energy burning. Just off the island (over the bridge), the Greenwood Forest Park is a lovely day out. Its special ‘Toddler Village’ has sandpits, mini-houses, pets’ corner and playground. For grown-ups, the adventurous in the group will find many opportunities for all-action fun from coasteering, abseiling and sea kayaking, whilst more sedate activities are also available such as rib boat trips and horse-riding.
Family-friendly cafes and bistros are plenty on the island but most highly recommended are 'Catch 22' in Valley which has a great value 'Little People' menu, Tavern on the Bay in St David's Park, with its amazing views, and the Sea Shanty just above the sands at Treddaur Bay for its great meals and millions of ice cream flavours. Highly recommended for a child-free evening are the Michelin-Star winning Sosban at Menai Bridge, the Marram Grass in Newbridge and Ye Olde Bulls Head in Beaumaris. For a special family night out, Popty Pizza, just 10-15mins drive away in Llangefni offers delicious wood-fired pizzas, cocktails and craft ales on tap, plus a fab selection of Italian antipasti

After finding out exactly what we hoped for and needed, Vicki was able to find our perfect holiday - we were so looking forward to it and couldn't have been more delighted. Vicki's communication was informative and proactive throughout - our happiness with the arrangements was of the utmost importance to her and I felt I could get in touch with any queries. These were addressed swiftly and efficiently. I really felt like she went the extra mile in helping us plan our holiday and ensuring we were comfortable with all aspects. Highly recommend!! Tori was really helpful in helping us book, manage transfers, etc. On our departure day we had unexpected passport issues - Tori was straight on to the hotel and arranged for us to stay a couple of days later than planned. She was brilliant and really diffused the stress of a heart sink situation. Would definitely book with these guys again. We have never been disappointed, and I have pretty high expectations when it comes to holidays! They respond so quickly to every query and have got us some great deals. I trust them fully with what are such crucial decisions about our much needed holidays and recommend them to every parent I know! I would be lost without them! The matching service was really useful Chris ReddingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I submitted some basic details on their form on a Sunday evening and Tori got back to me the next day. We exchanged several emails and spoke on the phone. Tori was well informed, responsive and thorough. I was able to book a place that looks great with her help. It was great to have help from someone who specialises in family holidays, as our requirements are pretty different now compared to before having kids. I don't actually think I've ever had a personal service to help book a holiday before. Maybe this is what it was like when people used to go to the travel agent on the high street... Thanks Tori and BFB, would recommend and use again. Jessica TaylorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found Baby Friendly Boltholes by doing a Google search, and completed their online form with my holiday requirements. They got back to me very quickly with some great recommendations which were also very cost effective. Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we're unable to book at this time, but I will definitely go back to Baby Friendly Boltholes when we're in a position to move forward with our booking. Thanks! Joel DaltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really fast and easy, available on a Sunday to complete our booking. I can’t recommend Juliet at babyboltholes enough, from our initial enquiry right through to booking, she was responsive, understanding and patient. I didn’t even know where to start booking our first family holiday, Juliet took onboard all our needs and found us our dream trip. 5 star service for busy parents!
