Nestled on Rhodes' most sophisticated corner, Lindian Village is a cluster of pretty sugar-cube style suites fringed by an unspoilt beach a short drive from the island's most picturesque town, Lindos.
As stylish as it is child-friendly, Lindian Village offers a fantastic range of rooms and suites appropriate for families big and small, plus facilities including a UK-managed creche and kids club, a selection of restaurants, luxurious Ayurvedic spa, open-air gym, elegant coffee bar, beach bar, playground, mini market, handy list of useful baby gear and, most praised by parents, luxurious double sunbeds with drapes that are ideal for keeping little ones comfortable and shaded whilst parents relax in the sun.
Rated 5-star, the hotel has an innovative design featuring a man-made river that winds amongst cobbled lanes and richly planted gardens through clusters of pastel coloured accommodation units and leads to the huge lagoon swimming pool, itself just a few steps from a wide sand and shingle beach.
Mini guests will enjoy the children's playground, whilst their parents will appreciate the useful baby gear available on loan including, cots, highchairs, sterilisers and strollers. A pre-bookable babysitting service also allows parents to sample one of the sophisticated a la carte restaurants within the hotel or nip to nearby Lindos (approx 10mins) and enjoy recapturing the romance with a sunset dinner in a rooftop restaurant. For non-babysitting nights, little ones are welcome to join their parents in all of the hotel's four restaurants and three cafe bars, all of which provide children's menus. The main buffet restaurant (Almante's – open from 19.00) is included within the half board deal (€40 per adult per day/ €20 per child per day 2- 12yrs), whilst guests on half board can also choose from selected items at the hotel's a la carte/formal restaurants Basil (gourmet Greek), Mr Danton (Thai) and Astrocopus (fish & oyster bar) or a €15 credit towards meals in restuarants hosting special event nights. It is worth noting that gentlemen are encouraged to wear long trousers in the restaurants during the evening. There is no cheesy evening entertainment here but there are drinks and music until 1am in the hotel's 'village square' lounge bar.

Location Information
Lindian Village is set on a private beach a short drive from the resort of Lardos and, in the other direction, the picturesque coastal town of Lindos, which is considered the most beautiful on Rhodes. The hotel's beach is a combination of fine sand, shingle and small pebbles, which is susceptible to the heat in summer and therefore jelly shoes are a top packing tip for little feet. Watersports and a waiter service for meals and drinks, along with sumptuous double sun loungers are all provided for guests. A short walk along the sea front leads to a second beach.
A hotel taxi boat leaves daily from the beach at mid-morning and drops off in Lindos for those who wish to try the beach there or wander amongst the shady cobbles streets dotted with boutiques and maybe enjoy a spot of lunch or a drink in one of the roof top tavernas. There's also the scenic Acropolis of Lindos with its commanding views to the Temple of Athena Lindia and the Old Theatre carved from rock. The taxi boat returns to the hotel mid afternoon.
Rhodes town is only about 20mins away by car/taxi and is a must-see since it is Europe's largest Medieval walled town, as well as being
Kid-friendly attractions include the waterpark just outside Faliraki, the Aquarium in Rhodes town, the Valley of the Butterflies and the Sound and Light show. A little further a field, a day trip to Ephesus in Turkey, is highly recommended for its breathtakingly well preserved Roman ruins, include the public toilets, which, mysteriously, always prove entertaining for little ones!
Getting There: The airport in Rhodes is approx 50mins from the hotel and serviced by low-cost airlnes from most UK airports as well as international flights via Athens and Thessaloniki.

Colette SintonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were lucky enough to have Vicki's expertise and support in finding our family holiday in Zakynthos this summer. After finding out exactly what we hoped for and needed, Vicki was able to find our perfect holiday - we were so looking forward to it and couldn't have been more delighted. Vicki's communication was informative and proactive throughout - our happiness with the arrangements was of the utmost importance to her and I felt I could get in touch with any queries. These were addressed swiftly and efficiently. I really felt like she went the extra mile in helping us plan our holiday and ensuring we were comfortable with all aspects. Highly recommend!! Tori was really helpful in helping us book, manage transfers, etc. On our departure day we had unexpected passport issues - Tori was straight on to the hotel and arranged for us to stay a couple of days later than planned. She was brilliant and really diffused the stress of a heart sink situation. Would definitely book with these guys again. We have never been disappointed, and I have pretty high expectations when it comes to holidays! They respond so quickly to every query and have got us some great deals. I trust them fully with what are such crucial decisions about our much needed holidays and recommend them to every parent I know! I would be lost without them! The matching service was really useful Chris ReddingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I submitted some basic details on their form on a Sunday evening and Tori got back to me the next day. We exchanged several emails and spoke on the phone. Tori was well informed, responsive and thorough. I was able to book a place that looks great with her help. It was great to have help from someone who specialises in family holidays, as our requirements are pretty different now compared to before having kids. I don't actually think I've ever had a personal service to help book a holiday before. Maybe this is what it was like when people used to go to the travel agent on the high street... Thanks Tori and BFB, would recommend and use again. Jessica TaylorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found Baby Friendly Boltholes by doing a Google search, and completed their online form with my holiday requirements. They got back to me very quickly with some great recommendations which were also very cost effective. Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we're unable to book at this time, but I will definitely go back to Baby Friendly Boltholes when we're in a position to move forward with our booking. Thanks! Joel DaltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really fast and easy, available on a Sunday to complete our booking. I can’t recommend Juliet at babyboltholes enough, from our initial enquiry right through to booking, she was responsive, understanding and patient. I didn’t even know where to start booking our first family holiday, Juliet took onboard all our needs and found us our dream trip. 5 star service for busy parents!
