White sand-fringed and pine hill-backed, Domes Aulus is an exciting new concept from the same team as Crete’s chic Domes Zeen and Domes of Elounda resorts. It's 'Cool Inclusive' concept blends the sophisticated style and service for which the existing resorts are known, with a slightly more affordable luxury vibe.
As we’ve come to expect from Domes, the attention to detail in both concept and execution is admirable with interiors, cuisine, and services all blending elegance with a sense of eco-awareness that is fitting given its nature reserve setting, alongside the island’s most admired beach. Even the youngest of guests are encouraged to learn about the local ‘Caretta Caretta’ turtle population and get involved in their conservation, whilst restaurant menus include specialities of the island and produce sourced from its fishing and farming community.
Despite its tranquil location, it’s also a parent-friendly transfer time from the airport. Guests can land, grab their bags and be at the hotel, welcome drink in hand in as little as 15 minutes! The further family-friendly appeal comes in the form of a wealth of useful baby/toddler gear available to Baby Boltholes guests on pre-request, an all-day kids buffet, a creche, and a complimentary kids club for children aged 4-11 focused on nurturing eco-conscious young minds. There’s also a babysitting service and a range of activities for teenagers.
Whilst junior guests are occupied, parents can gain some serious rejuvenation in the adults-only spa, food bar and, perhaps even put the mixologist to work with pre or post-dinner cocktails.
What really stands out though is the resort’s passion for a more imaginative, elegant take on the all-inclusive concept. Standard accommodation comes with access to an ever-changing buffet of chef-prepared, delicious food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, snacks, and both international and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks but also the option to upgrade to the hotel’s excellent a la carte restaurant, Meze, once per week.
However, most of the family-size accommodation is part of the ‘Cool Living’ collection of premium rooms, all of which come with added benefits including a la carte lunch at the beach bar, another lunch at Meze restaurant, and a dinner at the street food restaurant 'Canteen' during their stay. The rooms also come with access to an exclusive premium lounge that offers cocktails, drinks, tailor-made snacks, and quick bites, plus on the first day, guests will receive an in-room open minibar.
All in all, Domes Aulus is a truly contemporary, child-friendly beach resort which aims to combine luxury accommodation with an eco-conscious approach and genuinely warm Greek welcome.
NEW! Become a Turtle Scout – From May 2024 onwards, junior guests aged 4-11 are offered the opportunity to become a 'Turtle Scout' in a new supervised programme of activities, crafts and lessons designed in partnership with local conservationists. The complimentary Turtle Scout includes a uniform, activity pack and souvenir key ring.

Location Information
The resort sits in 230 acres of lush pine-forest with a 60-metre wide sandy beach to the front. Despite the quiet location, the hotel is conveniently located just 5km from Zakynthos Airport and 8km from Zante town centre (10-minute drive), where you can find vibrant bars, cosy restaurants, charming narrow streets, as well as Solomos Square and the impressive Venetian Castle. The nearby Laganas town (just a 10-minute walk) also offers a variety of food and drink options but has a reputation for nightlife and is a little more commercial. Zakynthos (or Zante) Island is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Greek Islands, famous for its lush green hillsides and emerald waters. It boasts some of the country’s best beaches, including the iconic and secluded Shipwreck Beach. It's an incredible family-friendly island and the hotel provides a great base from which to explore, or equally guests could just hideaway in the resort for a week or twos relaxation.
The airport is just 15 minutes drive away and transfers with child seats can be arranged at additional cost.

After finding out exactly what we hoped for and needed, Vicki was able to find our perfect holiday - we were so looking forward to it and couldn't have been more delighted. Vicki's communication was informative and proactive throughout - our happiness with the arrangements was of the utmost importance to her and I felt I could get in touch with any queries. These were addressed swiftly and efficiently. I really felt like she went the extra mile in helping us plan our holiday and ensuring we were comfortable with all aspects. Highly recommend!! Tori was really helpful in helping us book, manage transfers, etc. On our departure day we had unexpected passport issues - Tori was straight on to the hotel and arranged for us to stay a couple of days later than planned. She was brilliant and really diffused the stress of a heart sink situation. Would definitely book with these guys again. We have never been disappointed, and I have pretty high expectations when it comes to holidays! They respond so quickly to every query and have got us some great deals. I trust them fully with what are such crucial decisions about our much needed holidays and recommend them to every parent I know! I would be lost without them! The matching service was really useful Chris ReddingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I submitted some basic details on their form on a Sunday evening and Tori got back to me the next day. We exchanged several emails and spoke on the phone. Tori was well informed, responsive and thorough. I was able to book a place that looks great with her help. It was great to have help from someone who specialises in family holidays, as our requirements are pretty different now compared to before having kids. I don't actually think I've ever had a personal service to help book a holiday before. Maybe this is what it was like when people used to go to the travel agent on the high street... Thanks Tori and BFB, would recommend and use again. Jessica TaylorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found Baby Friendly Boltholes by doing a Google search, and completed their online form with my holiday requirements. They got back to me very quickly with some great recommendations which were also very cost effective. Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we're unable to book at this time, but I will definitely go back to Baby Friendly Boltholes when we're in a position to move forward with our booking. Thanks! Joel DaltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really fast and easy, available on a Sunday to complete our booking. I can’t recommend Juliet at babyboltholes enough, from our initial enquiry right through to booking, she was responsive, understanding and patient. I didn’t even know where to start booking our first family holiday, Juliet took onboard all our needs and found us our dream trip. 5 star service for busy parents!
