Sa Vorera is an ancient finca turned family-friendly villa for 12 on Ibiza’s West coast. Sitting pride of place on a rural country estate just 10 minutes’ drive from Cala Gracio beach, the villa offers both secluded privacy and a convenient location close to key amenities. The estate has been in the same family for over 200 years and it’s not hard to see why! The 200-hectare estate is wonderfully peaceful, with a hillside of trees to the rear and landscaped terrace gardens to the front. The private infinity pool is a great vantage point to soak up and the views, whilst the sleek cushioned sunbeds and optional safety fence ensure its just as welcoming for adults and children alike.
The villa comes with six bedrooms and is perfectly set up for groups. The peaceful location but proximity to nightlife hot spots makes it a great choice for multi-generation groups where guests of various ages may have different ideas on how to make the most of a holiday to the famous white isle. Families with younger guests can while away the days in the sunshine, playing in the pool, exploring the relaxed vibes of the inland villages, foodie hot spots and rural markets, whilst groups with hedonists in tow won’t have any shortage of choice to help keep them entertained within a short taxi ride.
For us and many families with young children, the magic of Ibiza are the quiet hidden coves and beaches, choice of laid-back dining options and genuine child-friendly welcome. It’s far more than just a clubbers paradise, the heart of the island is a haven of chilled out relaxation helped along by the beautiful Spanish sun.
Accommodation Overview
Villa Sa Vorera sleeps 12 plus infants in six double bedrooms, four of which are ensuite. Inside there is a contemporary living room with a traditional beamed ceiling, comfortable corner sofa, log burner, and dining table. The house is a traditional farmhouse with 3-foot-thick stone walls, whitewashed in the traditional way and wonderfully soundproofed, not to mention cool even in the summer months. The house has two kitchens, one small but a well-equipped guest kitchen with additional seating area, and a traditional farmhouse kitchen equipped with any the mod cons, cutlery and crockery needed for a big family group holiday.
The master suite is the only bedroom one the 1st floor. Nicknamed ‘The Tower’, the room has lovely views over the garden and sea beyond and comes with a double bed, direct access to the terrace, an in-room office area, and ensuite with a bathtub and shower.
The remaining bedrooms are located on the ground floor, one is a second master with direct access to a terrace, double bed, and in-room living area. It has an ensuite shower room. The other bedrooms are all double rooms, two with ensuite bathrooms and two which share a family bathroom.
Outside the house has a lovely swimming pool, set away from the main house with a gated entrance and its own outdoor kitchen with a wonderful, covered dining terrace, bbq, and more. The pool is surrounded by padded loungers. It has a wide step entrance which provides a great spot for paddling toddlers.
The grounds are quiet and rural with a selection of terraced gardens.

Location Information
The villa is located on a 200-hectare country estate on in the west of Ibiza. It’s an easy 20-minute drive from the airport and 15 minutes from Ibiza’s popular old town. Despite its quiet setting, the villa is just 10 minutes from the coast and has a choice of family-friendly beaches nearby including Cala Bassa, Cala Gracio, Cala Tarida, and Cala Vadella. The waters are wonderfully clear with sandy stretches of beach and lots of child-friendly restaurants nearby.
Despite its reputation, Ibiza is very welcoming to families. Many laid-back beach clubs have children’s play areas, face painting, and a range of child-friendly activities alongside their great food, picturesque setup and relaxed playlists. We’re particularly fond of El Chiringuito to the east of the islands (approx. 25 minutes’ drive). It’s just north of the beautiful town of Santa Eulalia which has a laid-back atmosphere, popular with families, and is a really special place. The beach is beautiful, there’s a sunbed drinks service and the restaurant serves great food! But best of all, it has a kids club! Little ones can be supervising by staff in the shade for an hour or two, enabling parents a little lone relaxation time. A little closer to ‘home’ we’d recommend a trip to Es Jardin de Fruitera which is a farm-to-table restaurant off the beaten track near the village of Santa Gertrudis. It has a pretty rural setting, with delicious food and a handy play park for little ones so they can work off some energy before eating.
Getting there: The airport is 20 minutes from the villa and served by a range of airlines out of a variety of UK airports. Car hire is essential.

After finding out exactly what we hoped for and needed, Vicki was able to find our perfect holiday - we were so looking forward to it and couldn't have been more delighted. Vicki's communication was informative and proactive throughout - our happiness with the arrangements was of the utmost importance to her and I felt I could get in touch with any queries. These were addressed swiftly and efficiently. I really felt like she went the extra mile in helping us plan our holiday and ensuring we were comfortable with all aspects. Highly recommend!! Tori was really helpful in helping us book, manage transfers, etc. On our departure day we had unexpected passport issues - Tori was straight on to the hotel and arranged for us to stay a couple of days later than planned. She was brilliant and really diffused the stress of a heart sink situation. Would definitely book with these guys again. We have never been disappointed, and I have pretty high expectations when it comes to holidays! They respond so quickly to every query and have got us some great deals. I trust them fully with what are such crucial decisions about our much needed holidays and recommend them to every parent I know! I would be lost without them! The matching service was really useful Chris ReddingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I submitted some basic details on their form on a Sunday evening and Tori got back to me the next day. We exchanged several emails and spoke on the phone. Tori was well informed, responsive and thorough. I was able to book a place that looks great with her help. It was great to have help from someone who specialises in family holidays, as our requirements are pretty different now compared to before having kids. I don't actually think I've ever had a personal service to help book a holiday before. Maybe this is what it was like when people used to go to the travel agent on the high street... Thanks Tori and BFB, would recommend and use again. Jessica TaylorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found Baby Friendly Boltholes by doing a Google search, and completed their online form with my holiday requirements. They got back to me very quickly with some great recommendations which were also very cost effective. Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we're unable to book at this time, but I will definitely go back to Baby Friendly Boltholes when we're in a position to move forward with our booking. Thanks! Joel DaltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really fast and easy, available on a Sunday to complete our booking. I can’t recommend Juliet at babyboltholes enough, from our initial enquiry right through to booking, she was responsive, understanding and patient. I didn’t even know where to start booking our first family holiday, Juliet took onboard all our needs and found us our dream trip. 5 star service for busy parents!
