Villas Antilia and Maia are a pair of stunning new villas located next to each other on the unspoilt, north-eastern coast of Zakynthos. Each offers incredible sea views, stylish interiors and an array of optional extras provided to ensure a stress-free family holiday. The twin villa set up offers larger/multi family real space to spread out, relax and unwind; dipping in and out of socialising as much or as little as they please with no arguing over who pulled the short straw.
Each is designed around an impressive glass courtyard and have been expertly finished to create a clean, contemporary and light filled space. There are three spacious en-suite bedrooms each with their own terraces, an open plan kitchen/living room and stunning ocean views in each villa (so 6 bedrooms in total – sleeping 12). Outside the houses are perfectly set up for summer living; each has a generous terrace, summer kitchen, covered dining area and inviting 40sqm swimming pool (alarmed on request) with its own jacuzzi. Guests can while away the day relaxing by the pool, dining on souvlaki from the BBQ and soaking up sun against the backdrop of the Ionian Ocean beyond.
If all that sounds too arduous, the thoughtful concierge service is on hand to make life even easier. Families can let loose and focus on spending quality time together while a chef comes in to take over the cooking, or they bring the restaurant to you with a local meal delivery service. It’s not just the food that can be taken of, the rates include twice weekly maid service but additional cleaning can be arranged on request and they’ll even do your ironing if you ask nicely (additional charge applies). There’s even a nanny service so parents can contemplate a date night or perhaps take advantage of one of the luxury boat trips available. It’s more akin to your own boutique hotel than self-catering rental!

Location Information
The villas has a prime location within an area of outstanding natural beauty, with views of the Ionian Sea, in the north eastern corner of Zakynthos, which is also known as Zante. Although the stretches of sandy beaches have made the island a popular package holiday destination, this unspoilt corner is a world away from the busiest resorts and families will find private coves to swim in the crystal clear sea, just a few minutes from the villa.
Agios Nikolaos is a bustling little port with a smattering of tavernas, restaurants and shops set a short walk away. The port is a stopping off point for boat trips to the ‘Blue caves of Zante’ and a ferry also sails to Kefalonia, (approx. 1 hr), made famous by the novel and movie, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin. The owner can help arrange private trips or boat hire should guests wish to see the infamously beautiful 'Shipwreck Cove' or Blue Caves in luxury.
For families staying at the villas they may be able to take advantage of the excellent Peligoni Club which is walking distance away and occasionally offers temporary membership (costs apply – usually only possible in low/mid season). The club is open May – September and has a creche, selection of children's activities, watersports, bars, a restaurant and more.
For a change of scene from the villa, a visit to Volimes reveals the traditional side to Zakynthos, in a string on three small hamlets up in the hills. It’s a popular day out for coach trips so best to visit in the morning to buy the local cheese, yummy honey and embroidery souvenirs. For a more full on day of family fun, the Water Village Waterpark (35 mins) is one of the biggest in Greece, with slides, flumes, pools and play areas for all ages.
Nearest medical services: GP/A&E, 10-15 mins.
Getting here: The international airport for Zakynthos (or Zante) is just under an hour’s drive from the villas, with airlines including Easyjet, British Airways, Thomson and Jet2 flying from regional airports in the UK.

Colette SintonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were lucky enough to have Vicki's expertise and support in finding our family holiday in Zakynthos this summer. After finding out exactly what we hoped for and needed, Vicki was able to find our perfect holiday - we were so looking forward to it and couldn't have been more delighted. Vicki's communication was informative and proactive throughout - our happiness with the arrangements was of the utmost importance to her and I felt I could get in touch with any queries. These were addressed swiftly and efficiently. I really felt like she went the extra mile in helping us plan our holiday and ensuring we were comfortable with all aspects. Highly recommend!! Tori was really helpful in helping us book, manage transfers, etc. On our departure day we had unexpected passport issues - Tori was straight on to the hotel and arranged for us to stay a couple of days later than planned. She was brilliant and really diffused the stress of a heart sink situation. Would definitely book with these guys again. We have never been disappointed, and I have pretty high expectations when it comes to holidays! They respond so quickly to every query and have got us some great deals. I trust them fully with what are such crucial decisions about our much needed holidays and recommend them to every parent I know! I would be lost without them! The matching service was really useful Chris ReddingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I submitted some basic details on their form on a Sunday evening and Tori got back to me the next day. We exchanged several emails and spoke on the phone. Tori was well informed, responsive and thorough. I was able to book a place that looks great with her help. It was great to have help from someone who specialises in family holidays, as our requirements are pretty different now compared to before having kids. I don't actually think I've ever had a personal service to help book a holiday before. Maybe this is what it was like when people used to go to the travel agent on the high street... Thanks Tori and BFB, would recommend and use again. Jessica TaylorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found Baby Friendly Boltholes by doing a Google search, and completed their online form with my holiday requirements. They got back to me very quickly with some great recommendations which were also very cost effective. Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we're unable to book at this time, but I will definitely go back to Baby Friendly Boltholes when we're in a position to move forward with our booking. Thanks! Joel DaltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really fast and easy, available on a Sunday to complete our booking. I can’t recommend Juliet at babyboltholes enough, from our initial enquiry right through to booking, she was responsive, understanding and patient. I didn’t even know where to start booking our first family holiday, Juliet took onboard all our needs and found us our dream trip. 5 star service for busy parents!
