For larger groups or families The Lookout at The Rosevine offers the perfect solution. Ideally set up for four adults and four children this contemporary, coastal home offers guests the best of both world. All the space and privacy of a self catering retreat combine with the Rosevine's onsite restaurant and indoor pool to ensure a truly special and relaxing family break.
The Rosevine itself is a fabulous Georgian home, just a stones throw from the beach with 12 luxury rooms ( each a studio, 1 or 2 bedroom apartment), an indoor pool, excellent restaurant and fantastic family friendly attitude which has guests returning year after year for an idyllic Cornish holiday!
Parents and former hotel managers, Hazel and Tim bought and refurbished The Rosevine couple of years ago and have struck the perfect balance between style, luxury and family practicality. The Lookout is their latest venture and has been finished to the same high standard. The house is bright and airy with a relaxed coastal chic approach. Just like the in house guest rooms it boasts flat screen TVs, free WiFi, luxury toiletries and Egyptian cotton bed linen. It also has its own garden, terrace and play room so families have plenty of privacy and space for little ones to play unhindered.
The Rosevine's own grounds are large and lawned making them perfect for ball games but they also hide a wooden playhouse, trampoline, climbing frame, slides and a swing. Lookout guests are welcome to use the communal grounds which gives little ones the chance to meet some fellow playmates.
Along with the large indoor pool and lovely gardens, guest facilities include an elegant morning room and restaurant, both with beautiful sea views, and a cosy family den complete with sofas, flatscreen TV, DVD library, X-Box, doll's houses and cupboards stuffed with lovely wooden toys. There's a great kids menu in the restaurant and a handy room service, tapas menu for parents to relax and enjoy on their own terrace.
The Lookout Accommodation Overview:
The Lookout now has four bedrooms; two doubles and two children's rooms with single trundle beds (each with single and additional pull out single). The room set up is ideal for those travelling with grandparents or multifamily groups.

A great space to relax and unwind the lounge area is filled with comfortable, cosy sofas whilst the modern kitchen/diner is well equipped with an impressive range style hob and oven, a dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. While the dining table is big enough for the whole family to gather in for a hearty breakfast before everyone heads down to the beach.
Well versed in the needs of family holidays the owners thoughtfully supply a range of baby gear and there's even a playroom so little ones can relish their own space as they play. After finding out exactly what we hoped for and needed, Vicki was able to find our perfect holiday - we were so looking forward to it and couldn't have been more delighted. Vicki's communication was informative and proactive throughout - our happiness with the arrangements was of the utmost importance to her and I felt I could get in touch with any queries. These were addressed swiftly and efficiently. I really felt like she went the extra mile in helping us plan our holiday and ensuring we were comfortable with all aspects. Highly recommend!! Tori was really helpful in helping us book, manage transfers, etc. On our departure day we had unexpected passport issues - Tori was straight on to the hotel and arranged for us to stay a couple of days later than planned. She was brilliant and really diffused the stress of a heart sink situation. Would definitely book with these guys again. We have never been disappointed, and I have pretty high expectations when it comes to holidays! They respond so quickly to every query and have got us some great deals. I trust them fully with what are such crucial decisions about our much needed holidays and recommend them to every parent I know! I would be lost without them! The matching service was really useful Chris ReddingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I submitted some basic details on their form on a Sunday evening and Tori got back to me the next day. We exchanged several emails and spoke on the phone. Tori was well informed, responsive and thorough. I was able to book a place that looks great with her help. It was great to have help from someone who specialises in family holidays, as our requirements are pretty different now compared to before having kids. I don't actually think I've ever had a personal service to help book a holiday before. Maybe this is what it was like when people used to go to the travel agent on the high street... Thanks Tori and BFB, would recommend and use again. Jessica TaylorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found Baby Friendly Boltholes by doing a Google search, and completed their online form with my holiday requirements. They got back to me very quickly with some great recommendations which were also very cost effective. Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we're unable to book at this time, but I will definitely go back to Baby Friendly Boltholes when we're in a position to move forward with our booking. I can’t recommend Juliet at babyboltholes enough, from our initial enquiry right through to booking, she was responsive, understanding and patient. I didn’t even know where to start booking our first family holiday, Juliet took onboard all our needs and found us our dream trip. 5 star service for busy parents!
