Ikos Andalusia – One Bed Suite with Garden

We never thought we’d say it, but Ikos Andalusia has us lusting over an all-inclusive holiday. We can’t decide if it’s the luxury suites, Michelin quality dining, beachside location or prospect of not having to think about money, cooking or cleaning that’s won us round, but we really are rather smitten!

This luxury resort caters perfectly to families. There’s a choice of spacious and contemporary rooms or suites, inclusive child care*, an array of restaurants (children’s menus provided) and a fabulous 24 hour room service menu so families can dine in after a busy day, relaxing by the pool. Sound tempting? * the kids club is FOC but the creche is charged

Large and impressive, this stylish family resort offers a choice of swimming pools, its own beach, spa, creche, kids club, seven restaurants, several bars, sports activities and more.

All-inclusive here is far from a dingy and depressing buffet day after day, but a choice of seven restaurants designed to take guests on a gastronomic journey through Europe and even the option to dine at a top local eatery included. From laid-back dining to high sophistication and menus designed by Michelin starred chefs, there genuinely is something to please everyone, even fussy mini diners. Dine out on Greek on day, Spanish another Spanish and Asian Fusion another. We are particularly impressed by the ‘Dine Out’ service. Hotel staff will book you into one of the best local restaurants and you can diner free of charge. Of course, the room service menu and pool/beach side lounger service is also excellent for laid back lunches or snacking whilst little ones nap.

The kids activities are equally varied and well planned with options for mini guests ranging from 4 months to 17 years, all supervised by qualified staff and designed to meet UK Ofsted standards. The activities and clubs are included in the price, with the exception of the crèche for under 3s and babysitting (see Fast facts for costs).

There’s plenty for active adults too with tennis courts, fitness classes, yoga, volleyball, paddle boarding, badminton, windsurfing and more, all included. Plus motorised watersports at reasonable additional costs and ranging from boat tours, sailing classes and yacht rental to ringos and water skiing.

For relaxation, the Ikos Spa by Anne Semonin Paris is a great added extra with a large indoor spa pool (16yrs +), sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and treatment rooms. Frazzled parents can book in and transform themselves with a choice of treatments from massages to facials, hair cuts to manicures.

Accommodation Overview:

The hotel has a choice of just over 400 rooms and suites. Each offer a luxurious and contemporary interiors, perfect for design-savvy parents.

These wonderfully spacious, one-bedroom family suites are 68m2 and comprise of a lounge area and separate bedroom. They are the perfectly set up for families of two adult with up to three children (max incl. infants). They have panoramic windows which overlook a small private garden and deliver stunning views over the magnificent Mediterranean or the landscaped gardens.

Please note: Rates are based on 2 adults and 1 child (0-11.99yrs old). Families with 2 children can add an additional child on from the options & extras section when booking. It incurs a 25% surcharge on total cost. A third child (infant) can be added free of charge after the second child. Rates are all inclusive and include: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. The A la Carte restaurants will require reservations. Drinks are included. There is a beach and pool food and beverage service with inclusive drinks, snacks and more. 24 hour room service is provided along with midday snacks in various bars across the resort. A fully stocked mini bar is provided and replenished daily. There's a variety of inclusive sports and entertainments, including non motorised water sports. Child care in the kids club (4-12 years) and teenage club (13-17 years during peak summer only) is included. Ikos also offer a beach childcare service free of charge.
