At Baby Boltholes our holy grail is a small and friendly but stylish and luxurious hotel with a beautiful setting and a friendly approach to mini guests… and this little beauty has all those things in spades!
Nestled on an idyllic stretch of beach, backed by pine scented hills and overlooking an exceptionally beautiful view, the Bella Mare combines all the little luxuries us parents crave… deep cushioned sun loungers, a sophisticated bar and smart hotel bedrooms, plus a handy list of nursery kit, and a shallow kiddies pool. It is the perfect spot for a holiday combining morning excursions, long lazy lunches and relaxing afternoons, or a chilled evening of sunset drinks, good company and wine… heaven!
Even better, for those with older children in tow too, there's an excellent 'Beach Life' complimentary kids activity programme on offer 5 days a week for kids aged 5-11 years (during the school summer holidays), so everyone gets to make friends and enjoy their own version of a perfect holiday. Plus, with water sports including kayaking and paddle boarding on offer, there’s plenty of opportunity for family bonding too!
Accommodation Overview
The 31 elegant bedrooms at the hotel come in all shapes and sizes from classic doubles to suites for 3 +cots and family suites for up to four (plus cot). All feature balconies of varying sizes and views, depending on the price paid. The new ‘Exclusive’ suites benefit from access to additional stylish infinity pool and all-day bar, as well as sweeping sunset views from their location a little higher up the hill.
Regardless of room chosen, all feature small kitchenettes perfect for managing bottle feeding, knocking up snacks for little ones or even simple adult meals, although the excellent onsite restaurant and snack bar are hard to resist and there are two other excellent tavernas within a short walk too.
Superior Room:
The spacious, Superior Rooms are perfect for two adults and a baby. They comprise of a large room with double bed , a small kitchenette with fridge and a family bathroom with shower. The room has a private balcony/terrace. Air conditioning, wi-fi and a flat screen TV is provided. The suite can sleep 2 adults, 2 children and an infant. Maximum capacity is 3 + an infant.
There’s a daily turn down and maid service. Breakfast is included and room service runs until 11pm.

Location Information
Famous for its verdant scenery and idyllic beaches, Corfu is often considered the most beautiful of the Greek islands and the setting of the Bella Mare Hotel, is particularly idyllic in the quieter North East of the Island, where the water is exceptionally clear and blue. Indeed, the sand and shingle beach on which the hotel is set proudly flies a Blue Flag for cleanliness.
There’s a good choice of restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance including the two excellent local tavernas just a few minutes stroll from the hotel and the many more in the bustling fishing village of Kassiopi approximately 20mins walk. There’s also a handy a supermarket under 1.5km away.
Those looking to venture a little further afield will find an array of places to explore. The north of the island is blessed with the most beguiling views. Olives groves sweep down to pebbly coves and sleepy seaside villages. Agios Stephanos is very close and has a good choice of restaurants and laid-back night spots. Keen walkers may wish to tackle Mount Pantokrator which is surrounded by rugged terrace but filled with rare flowers and has a couple of ancient churches and monasteries to take in along the way.
Corfu town (35km away) is well worth a visit and often surprises guests with its beautiful Venetian architecture. The harbour is a lovely place to while away a few hours, whilst the great choice of galleries and museums are perfect for those in search of a little more culture. We also recommend visiting the beautiful, French built café-lined promenade known at the Liston.
